Officer – Treasury FX Sales

Officer – Treasury FX Sales Job Vacancy at Diamond Trust Bank June 2026
Position: Officer – Treasury FX Sales
Reporting line: Head of FX Sales
Job purpose
To grow FX sales volumes and income by managing client relationships, identifying Treasury business opportunities, and providing suitable FX and Treasury solutions while ensuring best execution and strong customer service.

Duties

• Provide FX pricing to clients and support the execution of suitable Treasury solutions.
• Deliver assigned FX volume and income targets through active client engagement and deal execution.
• Ensure best execution practices across front-office FX transactions while maintaining high service standards.
• Identify new sales opportunities through client calls, relationship reviews and market engagement.
• Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Work closely with FX traders and sales officers to close transactions and support desk revenue.
• Maintain a comprehensive client call list and support expansion of the Treasury client base.
• Contribute to the development and execution of FX sales strategy.
• Participate in cross-functional business growth initiatives.
• Conduct market research and data analysis to identify Treasury product and business opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong sales, communication and relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of financial markets, regulatory requirements and Treasury controls.
• ACI Dealing Certificate is required.

Work experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in FX sales, Treasury, relationship management or financial markets.

Personal attributes

• Strong service ethic.
• A structured approach to dealing with complex and variable work environments in an independent manner.

Assistant Manager – Treasury FX Trader

Assistant Manager – Treasury FX Trader Job Vacancy at Diamond Trust Bank June 2026
Position: Assistant Manager – Treasury FX Trader
Reporting line Head – Treasury
Job purpose
To deliver FX trading income and volume targets through active execution of spot, forward and derivative transactions, while managing market risk within approved limits and supporting Treasury’s overall revenue objectives.

Duties

• Execute FX spot, forward and derivative transactions in the interbank market.
• Deliver assigned FX trading income and volume targets.
• Work closely with FX Sales to convert client flows into profitable trading opportunities.
• Manage daily FX positions within approved NOP, counterparty and dealer limits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international market counterparties.
• Monitor market developments, liquidity conditions and currency trends to support trading decisions.
• Identify and manage foreign exchange risk arising from market movements and client flows.
• Ensure all trading activity complies with regulatory requirements, internal policies and approved procedures.
• Prepare Treasury reports and market updates as required by the Head of Treasury.

Position: FX Sales & Governance Lead – Treasury
Reporting line Head – Treasury
Job purpose
A Governance and Sales Dealer in the Treasury department plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing various financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the sales function within the Treasury.

Duties

• FX SalesProduct Structuring: Work closely with the sales team to structure financial products such as forex, derivatives, fixed income, etc. that meet client needs while adhering to governance and risk standards.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer appropriate financial products. Ensure that all client interactions are compliant with regulatory standards.
• Treasury OperationsSystem Management: Work with IT teams to ensure that Treasury systems are robust, secure, and meet the needs of both the governance and sales functions.
• GovernanceRegulatory compliance: Ensure all Treasury activities comply with relevant local and international financial regulations, such as those relating to anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other regulatory frameworks.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and regularly update Treasury policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is highly preferred. ACI dealing certificate is required.

Work experience

• 5+ years of experience in Treasury, with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and sales support.

Treasury FI & MM Dealer

Treasury FI & MM Dealer Job Vacancy at Diamond Trust Bank June 2026
Position: Treasury FI & MM Dealer
Reporting line Head – Treasury
Job Purpose
To manage the Bank’s money market, fixed income and liquidity activities by ensuring adequate funding, regulatory compliance, effective cashflow management and income generation from approved Treasury instruments.

Duties

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on statutory reserves and liquidity.
• Manage intraday cashflows and short-term funding for local currency clearing accounts and locally held foreign currency accounts.
• Maintain adequate balances in nostro and clearing accounts, avoid overdrafts, and invest surplus funds at optimal rates.
• Generate income through approved money market and fixed income instruments.
• Plan future cash movements and prepare funding requirement forecasts.
• Review money market borrowing and lending transactions to ensure compliance with liquidity regulations.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc liquidity, ALM, ALCO and mark-to-market reports.
• Monitor and manage the Bank’s investment portfolio, including government securities and interbank placements.
• Maintain the Bank’s active market presence to support funding and investment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
• ACI Dealing Certificate is required.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Good understanding of local and international financial markets.

Work experience

• 1–3 years’ experience in Treasury, FX trading, money markets or financial markets.
