POSITION: MARKETING SPECIALIST
Marketing Specialist
COMPANY: BACKBONE TANZANIA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and operate social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook;
- Plan and organize offline marketing activities such as seminars, activations, and promotional events;
- Design and coordinate production of promotional materials including storefront signage, vehicle branding, posters, and other marketing assets;
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies aligned with market trends and business objectives;
- Support brand positioning initiatives and enhance overall market visibility and customer engagement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or any other related field;
- Professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Branding, or Communications will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2-5 years of working experience in the marketing department of a reputable or large organization, with demonstrated successful campaigns;
- Candidates with prior experience in animal feed companies will be highly preferred.
- Strong execution capability with the ability to work independently and lead marketing initiatives;
- Solid understanding of social media management, digital marketing tools, and content planning;
- Basic to intermediate design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools);
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies;
- Available to join immediately.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
