General Sales Manager
Organization: Korsia Company Limited
Reports to: Regional Manager
Sector: Real estate
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with expansion across East Africa
Purpose of the role
The General Sales Manager will lead sales operations, drive revenue growth and coordinate management activities. The position is central to establishing the client as a leading real estate developer in Tanzania and the wider East African region.
Key outputs
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Build strong client relationships across different nationalities and cultures.
- Present and promote commercial and residential projects to investors, businesses and individuals.
- Coordinate with management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Represent the company professionally and credibly in all engagements.
Key responsibilities
Sales leadership
- Drive sales of commercial centres and residential developments.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
- Oversee negotiations and the closing of high-value deals.
Management and coordination
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and marketing teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales and operational functions.
- Monitor performance metrics and report results to senior leadership.
Market expansion
- Position the company competitively within Tanzania’s real estate market.
- Support expansion strategies into Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and other markets.
- Build networks with investors, businesses and government stakeholders.
Professional conduct
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all business dealings.
- Demonstrate strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Represent the company as a trusted partner in East Africa’s real estate sector.

Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate or a related field.
- At least five years of proven sales experience within the real estate industry.
- Strong leadership, coordination, communication and negotiation skills.
- A professional demeanour and excellent presentation skills.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management tools.

Purpose of the role
Korsia Company Limited is seeking four dynamic Sales Executives to support the General Sales Manager in driving sales, building client relationships, and promoting the client’s real estate developments.
These positions are vital to establishing the client as a trusted leader in Tanzania’s real estate sector.
Key outputs
The successful candidates will be expected to:
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for commercial and residential projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across diverse nationalities.
- Present and promote real estate projects to investors, businesses, and individuals.
- Support the General Sales Manager in executing sales strategies.
- Provide market insights to strengthen the company’s expansion into East Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Sales and client management
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Conduct presentations and site visits with prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close deals professionally.
- Team collaborationWork closely with the General Sales Manager to align activities with corporate goals.
- Share market intelligence and client feedback.

Qualifications and experience
Candidates should have:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
- A minimum of three to five years of proven sales experience, preferably in real estate or a related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- The ability to work with people of diverse nationalities, including Tanzanian residents of any nationality, such as Arabs, Americans, Indians, and Kenyans.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
