Position: Sales Order Management Officer
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Job Summary
The Sales Order Management Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales order process, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, fulfilled on time, and aligned with company policies and customer expectations. The role requires close coordination with the Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

· Receive, verify, and process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
· Review customer orders for pricing, product availability, and payment compliance.
· Coordinate with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
· Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
· Resolve order discrepancies, customer complaints, and delivery issues promptly.
· Maintain accurate customer and sales order records in the ERP system.
· Prepare sales order reports and monitor order fulfillment performance.
· Collaborate with the Sales and Finance departments to ensure smooth order processing and invoicing.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
· Support continuous process improvement initiatives within the Order Management function.

Knowledge and Skills Required

· Knowledge of sales order processing and customer service practices.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field.
· Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in Sales Order Management, Sales Administration, Customer Service, or a related role.
