Position: Network Techno-Sales Engineer
Job purpose
The Network Techno-Sales Engineer serves as the technical bridge between customers, vendors, and the sales team by designing innovative ICT and networking solutions that address customer requirements.

The role is responsible for providing technical consultation, supporting bid and proposal development, engaging customers throughout the sales cycle, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to revenue growth through effective solution design and business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities
Technical consultation and customer engagement

• Provide technical expertise and consultation to customers regarding networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and ICT solutions.
• Conduct customer requirement-gathering sessions, site surveys, and technical assessments.
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
• Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle by addressing technical inquiries and concerns.
• Recommend appropriate technologies and solutions that align with clients’ business needs.

Proposals, tenders, and bid management

• Lead the preparation and submission of technical proposals, tenders, requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and bid responses.
• Develop comprehensive solution documents, including technical architecture, scope of work, implementation methodologies, and pricing support.
• Review tender requirements and ensure compliance with customer specifications and vendor standards.

Vendor and partner management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Coordinate vendor quotations, certifications, technical support, and solution updates.
• Represent the organization in vendor meetings, training sessions, and partner engagements.

Business development and sales support

• Identify potential business opportunities through market intelligence, customer engagements, and industry trends.
• Support pipeline development by qualifying technical opportunities and identifying customer requirements.
• Track solution opportunities and provide technical insights for business growth strategies.
• Assist management in achieving sales targets and revenue objectives through technical sales support.

Solution design and documentation

• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective network and ICT solutions based on customer requirements.
• Produce high-level and detailed solution architectures, network diagrams, bills of materials (BoMs), and implementation plans.

Qualifications and experience
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Software Engineer

Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with strong Linux expertise to design, develop, deploy, and maintain software applications and supporting infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing software in Linux environments, troubleshooting operating systems, automating system tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Develop and optimize applications for Linux-based environments.
• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux servers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
• Develop shell scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor application performance and resolve software and system issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Quality Assurance (QA), and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliable deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage source code using Git and participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Implement security best practices for Linux systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least three years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS, Rocky Linux, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as:
  • Python
  • Java
  • C++
  • Go
  • C#
• Experience with Bash or shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Experience working with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Nagios.
• Linux certifications, such as RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+, will be an added advantage.
